Since its launch in 2014, Google’s design framework – Material Design has been gathering momentum and spreading beyond its original focus of mobile applications.
To lift our knowledge and understanding of what it is all about we are joined by Richard Fulcher, Design Manager on the Material Design systems team at Google. Rich is one of the team at Google who have worked on Material Design since its conception.
We talk about what Material Design is, how it makes use of the physical world in its implementation and how it could be used as a universal design framework.
