Show notes
Episode 167 is a link show. James and Per discuss three articles that have grabbed their attention.
Article one is Questions To Ask As A New Designer On The Team by Jason Cashdollar. “I couldn’t wait to start the project. It seemed like a textbook design problem. ‘Reduce confusion and friction for people signing up for your product.’ Got it. When I met with the team I expected them to be blown away by my designs. Instead I had run to the finish line of the wrong race.”
The second article we discuss is “As a user” needs to stop by Janet Taylor. “When user stories really shine, they tell a story about the person using your product. The person becomes the hero. You’re just there to create the conditions for her to achieve her real-life goals.”
Our third article is The Customer Delight Playbook by Sujan Patel. “If you’re not resolving most problems at first contact, you’re not delivering the service you should be, and you’re probably not delighting your customers.”
