Just before they magic themselves off to the airport we sat down with Josh Clark and Stephen Hay. Josh was closing keynote speaker at UXLx 2015 with his talk Magical UX and the Internet of Things. Stephen held a day 1 workshop – Responsive Design Workflow as well as a conference day talk entitled The Art of Deception.
We talked to them about magic, illusion, deception, persuasion. How you should lie to your users and trick them. What do you communicate to your clients – do you let them behind the curtain?
