We talk to her about our responsibility as designers and creators of digital products, services and information and our need to take a holistic view and have the confidence to stand up for what we know we should be doing digitally.

Interview with Mike Atherton at UXLx 2015. Mike held a workshop around structured content modelling and held a talk on the conference day entitled Designing with linked data. We Pulled him into Room 4 after lunch on day 3 and talked about linked data and its potential.
Adrian Howard joined us in Room 4 for a chat at UXLx. He regularly teaches and speaks on integrating Lean, UX and Agile methods and held a workshop on day 1 about User Story Mapping.

We talked to Nicole Fenton at UXLx 2015. Nicole is an editor, writer, content strategist. During her career she’s worked with companies such as Apple and Facebook. Words are her thing and she cares about them passionately. We talk to her about content, conversations and being iterative with your words.
We talked to Alastair Somerville at UXLx 2015. Alastair is a specialist in sensory cognition and accessibility and held a workshop on day one called Designing wearable experiences. Amongst other things we chat about sensory experiences and about how accessibility settings can help us deal with cognitive load.

UX Podcast attended the biggest UX conference in Sweden to date with over 850 attendees. “From Business To Buttons” was held on 21 April 2015. We managed to talk to three of the speakers on the day: Pamela Pavliscak, Cindy Alvarez and Mike Monteiro. To round up the day we were joined by Ben Sauer, UX Designer at Clearleft.

We talk to Pamela about happiness. If you are happy after using a website, you rate it better. You’re more likely to buy from it, use it again, recommend it. Can we create happiness? Can we design it?
We talk to Joe Leech about psychology for designers and bullshit science. We debunk some myths and “rules” that come across as truths.
