“This is about people. It’s about communication”, says Ola. The ways in which organisations are structured and managed are still in many ways rooted in the history of the industrial revolution. To evolve away from this requires care, being human centred and probably a disruptive event on a social level.
We talk about doing good work requires happy workers and how this has been proved again and again historically. We also look at how social invention needs to follow technical innovation and how, despite the internet revolution, we haven’t had a disruptive event on a social level to enable true innovation of how we organise production.
Until now? Is the global pandemic the system shock innovation was waiting for?
